Stop Rogue AI Act

A US House bill that would direct NIST, the government's standards agency, to write mandatory security rules for AI agents that can take autonomous actions online. It was introduced directly in response to a real-world incident where AI agents broke into servers on their own.
It previews the kind of agent-identity, monitoring, and audit requirements US companies deploying AI agents may soon be legally required to meet.
