prEN 18282

A draft European harmonised standard that spells out the specific cybersecurity requirements high-risk AI systems must meet to comply with the EU AI Act. Once finalized, meeting this standard will give AI providers a legal 'presumption of conformity' — an easier path to proving compliance with the Act's cybersecurity rules.
For any company selling high-risk AI systems into the EU, this standard will become the concrete technical checklist regulators and auditors use to judge legal compliance, not just the broader principles in the AI Act itself.
