CIS MCP Server Benchmark

The first vendor-neutral checklist of best practices for securely configuring 'MCP servers' — the connectors that let AI assistants and agents reach company data, files, and tools. It gives organizations specific, testable steps to audit whether their AI connections are set up safely, much like existing hardening checklists for cloud services.
Given a wave of security flaws recently found in these AI connectors, this benchmark gives boards a concrete, auditable standard to require of IT teams and software vendors rather than relying on ad-hoc configuration.
