AI Cybersecurity Clearinghouse

A US government body — formally established on 2 July 2026 under Executive Order 14409 — that acts as a centralised hub for sharing information about security vulnerabilities and incidents in frontier AI systems between government agencies and AI developers. It is the first government structure specifically dedicated to coordinating the disclosure and response to AI-specific security flaws, similar to how CISA coordinates cybersecurity threats for critical infrastructure. Frontier AI developers are expected to report significant security findings to this body.
Frontier AI developers now have a formal government interlocutor for AI vulnerability reporting — creating both an obligation to disclose and a channel for receiving threat intelligence, with compliance becoming a prerequisite for ongoing government partnerships and export approvals.
