Agentic vulnerability remediation

A class of AI-powered security platform in which autonomous agents continuously scan systems for vulnerabilities, validate which ones are genuine, and then automatically generate and deploy fixes — moving from manual quarterly patching cycles to near-real-time remediation. AWS Continuum, Microsoft MDASH, and Google CodeMender are leading examples.
With CISA's new three-day patch window for critical federal flaws and AI-accelerated exploit development, the window between disclosure and attack is shrinking below human reaction time — automated remediation pipelines are becoming an operational necessity rather than an aspiration.
