Agent control plane compromise

The takeover of the central management layer an AI-agent platform uses to decide which tools agents may call, which credentials they may use, and what actions they may perform. Because that layer holds the agent roles, tool servers and integration credentials — effectively the platform's keys to the kingdom — compromising it grants full control over every agent running on it.
A single flaw in an agent orchestration platform can let an attacker drive all of an organisation's agents and reach the downstream systems their credentials unlock, making this a board-level supply-chain risk.
