What happened
On June 22, 2026, F5 (NASDAQ: FFIV) launched the F5 AI Security Platform — a four-pillar continuous control plane covering AI governance, discovery, security testing, and runtime protection for enterprise AI applications, models, agents, and APIs. F5 simultaneously acquired SurePath AI, a pioneer in network-based AI discovery, intent classification, and shadow AI detection, integrating it as the discovery layer. The platform extends F5's existing application delivery/security infrastructure and builds on its prior CalypsoAI acquisition (now F5 AI Red Team).
