Tigera Lynx GA: Kubernetes-Native Unified Control Plane for AI Agent Security

SolutionsHigh impactGlobal
On June 17, 2026, Tigera announced general availability of Tigera Lynx — a unified control plane that discovers every AI agent in a Kubernetes estate, assigns cryptographic identities, sandboxes agents, enforces per-action policy, audits all activity, and detects anomalous behavior — without requiring any changes to agent code.
Kubernetes is the dominant runtime for enterprise AI agents, yet most AI-security tooling operates at the prompt/API layer. Lynx addresses the infrastructure layer: cryptographic identity, network policy, and behavioral anomaly detection at the Kubernetes level — filling a gap no major cloud provider currently fills natively.
Platform/DevSecOps teams running AI agents on Kubernetes should evaluate Lynx immediately. Especially relevant for organizations deploying MCP-connected agents or multi-agent frameworks.
