AWS Continuum: AI-Native Security Agent Family Launched at AWS Summit New York

SolutionsHigh impactGlobal
AWS announced Continuum on June 17, 2026 at AWS Summit New York — a family of AI security agents covering the full vulnerability lifecycle: discovery, prioritization, validation, and remediation. Penetration testing is GA; code scanning, threat modeling, and code-vulnerability remediation are in limited preview. It is model-agnostic, operates in learn→enforce trust modes, and subsumes the prior AWS Security Agent capabilities.
AWS is productizing an end-to-end agentic security loop directly inside the cloud control plane, giving AWS customers machine-speed vulnerability management without a separate vendor. The preview scale (financial services, automotive, technology verticals) and AWS distribution make this a major market signal for the 'AI-native ASPM' category.
AWS customers running production workloads should request limited-preview access now; security architects evaluating AI-driven ASPM or pentest automation should track GA timeline.
