What happened
Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform Security tab went through release notes in the window (doc page dated Nov 4, 2026), making AI security findings and posture management summaries generally available. The Security tab surfaces aggregate AI risk metrics and compliance status, 'AI risks by severity' and 'AI threats' widgets, 'agents with excessive permissions', per-resource risk for agents/gateways/MCP servers, and 'Remediate with Gemini' for Terraform-managed findings, backed by Security Command Center AI Protection, Agent Platform Vulnerability Assessment, Model Armor and AI Discovery.
Why it matters
This gives agent-platform customers a native, SCC-integrated security posture view of their agent fleet, moving agent security from ad-hoc scanners into the Google Cloud governance console.
Applicability
Google Cloud teams running agents/gateways through Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform should enable the Security tab and configure SCC Premium for AI Protection and attack-path simulation.
