What happened
On Oct 28, 2026 Vicarius announced vRx 2.0, a major release unifying vulnerability discovery, risk prioritization, patching, patchless protection (vShield), scripting and AI-generated remediation into one agentic pipeline. It adds AI red-team validation (vIntelligence), a Remediation Policy engine, SBOM generation, AI grouping/search, an Open API, and expands vPatch coverage to 20,000+ apps while adding vRadar agentless discovery against CIS/HIPAA/PCI DSS/CMMC benchmarks.
Why it matters
