What happened
On Oct 29 Check Point announced the Maestro Hyperscale Orchestrator (MHO) 200, adding 400GbE ports and quadrupling capacity to 12.8 Tbps fabric and 4.5 Tbps threat-prevention in a 1RU chassis. It extends Check Point's AI Network Firewall to hyperscale, letting organizations discover and secure AI applications, LLMs, agents and MCP servers from the firewall and supporting NVIDIA BlueField integration for AI Factory Firewall.
Why it matters
It is a scale-focused step that lets neoclouds, telcos and sovereign-AI operators inspect growing east-west encrypted AI training/inference/agentic traffic without disabling threat prevention, addressing the capacity-vs-inspection tradeoff at AI infrastructure scale.
Applicability
Enterprises and GPU/service providers building AI factories should evaluate MHO 200 when planning hyperscale firewall throughput; the agent/MCP discovery capability builds on Check Point's existing AI Network Firewall.
