What happened
On Oct 22 AWS announced general availability of Continuum for code vulnerabilities. It builds a context graph from connected code repositories (GitHub or S3) and an AWS environment collector, judges exploitability against application and network reachability, reproduces findings in an isolated sandbox with PoC, ranks issues by business impact/blast radius, and generates fixes opened as pull requests requiring human approval (with future optional autonomous remediation behind confidence gates).
Why it matters
It applies frontier AI to the vulnerability-validation bottleneck, converting thousands of noisy scanner findings into a short list of proven-exploitable, business-ranked issues with generated patches — a GA, broadly accessible capability from AWS.
Applicability
Enterprises running large application estates on AWS with GitHub/S3 code sources should pilot Continuum to reduce manual exploitation triage and shorten remediation cycles.
