What happened
On Oct 14 Qualys made TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 GA with TruConfidence, an AI-powered remediation intelligence and orchestration engine powering its 'Autonomous RemOps' vision (free upgrade for existing customers). It reaches perimeter/cloud/app assets beyond agent-based endpoints, credits existing controls to avoid duplicate coverage, applies compensating mitigations, and monitors system health (e.g. via Dynatrace) with AI-powered patch failure analysis and automatic rollback.
Why it matters
Qualys frames autonomous exploitation as requiring equally automated remediation, and front-loads evidence/confidence (patch reliability scoring, progressive ring rollouts, 0.1% rollback over half a billion deployments) to make machine-speed remediation safe. This is a sizable incumbent moving the risk-remediation loop toward agentized, closed-loop patching.
