What happened
On Oct 15, Veeam announced general availability of Intelligent ResOps (iResOps) for Microsoft 365, the first GA offering in its iResOps portfolio, delivered as an add-on to Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365. It connects production M365 data to a DataAI Command Graph to discover known and unknown AI agents, show which sensitive data each agent can reach, close oversharing gaps, identify ROT data, and undo file changes an agent made on a file-by-file basis. Veeam also opened private previews of iResOps for Veeam Data Platform and Okta.
Why it matters
Resilience teams have no way to 'rewind' agentic actions in M365 — this is the first widely-available product giving a precise, auditable undo and an agent-access map, addressing the gap where agents read/change/delete data at machine speed with most orgs unable to see it. It extends backup into AI governance and AI accessibility, a fast-growing adjacency for data resilience.
Applicability
M365 customers concerned about shadow AI agents and overshared sensitive data should evaluate iResOps as an add-on to Veeam Data Cloud, particularly to validate agent access and recover precisely after an agent modifies or deletes data.
