What happened
On Oct 13 GitHub added AI Scan (PR code-scanning detector) impact metrics to the security overview so org/enterprise admins can see how many findings AI Scan raised on pull requests.
Why it matters
Adds observability/ROI tracking to the newly-GA AI Scan capability — helps teams justify adoption — but is an incremental reporting feature, not a new security capability.
Applicability
Shop admins running AI Scan should enable the security-overview metrics for adoption tracking; no action for others.
