What happened
On Oct 8 at OutSystems World Tour, OutSystems made Agent Experience generally available: it opens the OutSystems low-code platform to external AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Kiro) and lets agents shape system architecture while OutSystems generates code deterministically, enforcing security, automated testing and governance guardrails out of the box, with cloud/hybrid/on-prem sovereign deployment.
Why it matters
A significant vendor providing a governed enterprise path for 'bring your own coding agent' — addresses the fragmented/unreviewed AI-generated code problem (74% of AI code needs rework) and the security-governance gap for regulated enterprises adopting Claude Code/Cursor/Codex. Early customers (YESCO, Lowenstein Sandler, Normal) show production traction.
Applicability
Regulated enterprises deploying external coding agents into their SDLC should evaluate Agent Experience for deterministic-code enforcement and built-in guardrails; CH). Assess for agent-driven development programs in the next 1-2 quarters.
