What happened
Wiz's Oct 5 Service Catalog update automatically identifies and catalogs AI components — PaaS AI agents (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI), foundation models, MCP servers, and AI datasets — letting teams filter for AI-powered services, audit agentic identities, govern sensitive data flows to AI workloads, and map AI components into service-level posture.
Why it matters
This extends a mainstream cloud security platform (Wiz) into AI-SPM/AI-asset discovery, giving CSPM customers a path to inventory and govern AI agents and MCP servers as part of normal service posture workflows.
Applicability
