Recorded Future Debuts Autonomous Defense platform — agentic threat intel that hunts, investigates and blocks at machine speed

SolutionsHigh impactGlobal
On Sept 30 at Mastercard RiskX, Recorded Future premiered Autonomous Defense, built on the Intelligence Graph and Recorded Future AI: analysts task it with a goal, and agents autonomously run hunts, block threats, initiate takedowns and drive third-party remediation, with agents defaulting to full autonomy or a managed-autonomy dial.
It is one of the largest security vendors moving threat intelligence from answer-generation to agentic action — a direct competitor to the wave of autonomous-SOC agents from Sekoia, Stellar Cyber, Exabeam and Splunk, differentiated by 15 years of grounded intelligence rather than a generic agent loop.
Recorded Future customers and organizations building agentic SOC response should evaluate the autonomous-defense preview for OSINT-driven hunt/block/takedown workflows; adopt in managed-autonomy mode first for compliance review.
