What happened
On Sept 29, 2026 Rig Security launched from stealth with a $12M seed led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Brightmind with CrowdStrike Falcon Fund participation, unveiling an agentic-era identity protection platform: RICE identity correlation engine (>96% claimed accuracy, resoloving agent vs human actions into one identity graph) plus the Bifrost endpoint sensor that distinguishes an AI agent's session from its human owner and enforces policy without blocking the person.
Why it matters
Autonomous agents borrow the identity of the developer/service account that launched them, so SIEMs cannot tell a rogue agent's action from the legitimate user's — and disabling the account blocks the employee. Rig addresses the attribution/enforcement gap with graph-based identity correlation and runtime session-level control, and the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund backing signals channel traction in the hot agent-identity space.
Applicability
CISO/ITDR teams in environments with broad agent usage should track Rig for agent action attribution and least-disruption enforcement; evaluate during agent-identity rollouts as an alternative to legacy account-based blocking.
