What happened
On Sept 29, 2026 Postman announced general availability of Fabric Gateway, a self-deployed (customer-cloud) control plane that routes, governs and observes LLMs, MCP servers, agents and internal APIs through one endpoint, enforcing least-privilege context-aware policy uniformly across HTTP/gRPC/MCP/A2A, with a unified agent-facing registry, identity, fallback/circuit-breaker reliability and pre-execution compliance logging.
Why it matters
