What happened
Bitdefender launched GravityZone AI Visibility and Control, an add-on (available from Sept 23) that inventories AI chatbots, coding assistants, browser extensions, local models, AI agents, MCP servers, and SaaS AI features, score-ranks their risk, and lets teams allow/restrict/block via existing GravityZone controls.
Why it matters
It brings practical AI-shadow-IT discovery and governance to the widely deployed GravityZone endpoint platform (and its MSP bundles), covering the MCP/agent surface that most endpoint vendors still ignore.
Applicability
MSPs and enterprises on GravityZone should add the module to close the AI-tool visibility gap and enforce a risk-ranked AI usage policy.
