What happened
On Sept 15, 2026 SecuPi announced a Data Security Platform targeted at self-hosted AI (on-prem/private-cloud/VPC/air-gapped): runtime attribute-based access control (ABAC) over what humans and AI agents can access/see/do, field-level FPE/tokenization/masking, real-time sensitive-data monitoring plus a kill switch to block rogue agent activity, and MCP-server integration for agent connectivity.
Why it matters
Fills a real gap in Security of AI: self-hosting a model does not by itself control data exposure or agent actions. This gives regulated/air-gapped organizations row/column/field-level runtime enforcement and human-backed agent attribution across RAG, inference, and agent workflows — relevant as agentic data access becomes a top risk.
Applicability
Banks, healthcare, government, and other regulated enterprises with self-hosted/air-gapped AI should evaluate SecuPi for runtime data access control over agents (MCP) and RAG pipelines.
