Cohesity Agent Resilience — backup/recovery for AI agent memory, configuration, and dependent infrastructure

SolutionsMedium impactGlobal
Cohesity announced (Sept 16, 2026, at Cohesity Catalyst) Agent Resilience, a Cohesity Data Cloud capability that discovers, protects, and recovers AI agent memory/configuration via immutable snapshots and clean-room recovery, plus protects data/services agents interact with; launches with Amazon Bedrock support (Microsoft/Google on roadmap), available now to select customers with GA targeted end of 2026.
First mainstream backup/DR vendor to treat AI agents as a protected, recoverable asset class distinct from detection — addresses a gap where detecting agent misbehavior doesn't undo the damage, a growing concern as enterprises run hundreds-to-thousands of agents.
Enterprises running production AI agents on Bedrock (with Microsoft/Google support forthcoming) and existing Cohesity customers should evaluate for agent-state recovery and cyber-resilience planning.
