Atsign and Intel report ~88x performance uplift for encrypted agent-to-agent edge AI communication

Atsign announced (Sept 10) with Intel a hardware-accelerated, end-to-end encrypted Agent2Agent (A2A) communication solution for edge/autonomous transportation AI, combining Atsign's identity/namespace-isolation software with Intel hardware-backed key generation, secure boot, and memory/disk encryption; vendors claim ~88x uplift on Xeon and ~60x on Core Ultra 9.

Addresses a real gap — encrypted, authenticated agent-to-agent comms at the edge — but the performance claims are vendor-reported and unverified, and the use case (smart transportation) is narrow.

Edge/autonomous-systems vendors evaluating encrypted A2A protocols should independently benchmark before relying on claimed performance figures.
