OpenLeash emerges with open-source runtime authorization firewall for AI agents

Founder Max Brin publicly launched OpenLeash (Sept 1-2, 2026), an open-source runtime authorization layer that sits alongside AI agents, intercepting risky actions, blocking clear threats outright, and requesting human approval when intent is uncertain (before database deletions, credential sharing, large payments, etc.).

Adds a new open-source entrant to the fast-growing agent-guardrail/runtime-firewall category (alongside AIR Security, Capsule Security) specifically targeting human-in-the-loop control over irreversible agent actions, a gap enterprises are actively trying to close as agents gain broad system access.
