What happened
F5 announced (Sept 2, 2026) general availability of a native integration federating F5 AI Guardrails (part of the F5 AI Security Platform) into MuleSoft's Agent Fabric Omni Gateway, providing inline inspection of prompts/completions for prompt injection, jailbreaks, toxicity, and PII/data exposure without a separate proxy layer.
Why it matters
A major app-delivery/security incumbent (F5) embedding runtime LLM guardrails directly into a widely-deployed enterprise integration platform (Salesforce/MuleSoft Agent Fabric) lowers adoption friction for AI runtime security at large enterprises already on that stack.
Applicability
