Abnormal AI launches AI Cloud Security with OpenAI Daybreak models to detect rogue AI agents

SolutionsMedium impactGlobal
Abnormal AI announced (Sept 3, 2026) AI Cloud Security, extending its behavioral-AI platform from email/identity into cloud environments, using OpenAI models (via the Daybreak Defense Network) to power AI Investigation, Machine-Speed Response, and Active AI Cloud Posture. It is in private preview now with GA planned later in September 2026.
Adds a fifth named vendor (after Check Point, SentinelOne, Cloudflare) integrating OpenAI Daybreak models into a production security platform, this time targeting rogue/compromised AI-agent identity behavior in cloud estates rather than endpoint or exposure-validation use cases.
Enterprises using Abnormal for email/identity security and running cloud AI agents should join the waitlist ahead of GA this month.
