Reco announced general availability (Sept 1, 2026) of Browser Guard, a runtime security layer that inspects prompts and agent activity in the browser, correlating with identity/data/destination context to detect and block prompt injection, data leakage, and unauthorized agent actions from shadow AI tools and extensions.
Why it matters
Addresses a growing gap — AI agent and copilot use inside browsers, often outside sanctioned channels — with real-time policy enforcement rather than after-the-fact discovery, extending Reco's 280+ app integrations to a new enforcement surface.
