Qualys launches InstaScan / Agent Insta for scanless, minutes-after-disclosure vulnerability detection

Qualys introduced InstaScan, powered by an AI backend agent called Agent Insta, which continuously correlates newly disclosed vulnerabilities and vendor advisories against live asset inventory/telemetry to flag exposure within minutes of disclosure rather than waiting for scheduled scans, claiming ~90% of new CVEs identified within minutes.

Shifts vulnerability management from periodic scan cycles to continuous, disclosure-triggered detection, materially shrinking the exploit window as CVE weaponization timelines compress.
