Prophet Security announced (Aug 3, 2026) general availability of AI Detection Engineer, a new module in its Agentic AI SOC Platform that autonomously builds a live MITRE ATT&CK coverage map from investigation outcomes and authors/backtests new detection rules to close identified gaps.

Automates the traditionally manual, backlog-prone discipline of detection engineering by feeding it directly from AI-driven investigation outcomes, turning detection tuning into a continuous operational loop rather than a periodic project.
