What happened
Varonis announced (July 14, 2026) that its Atlas AI Security Platform now covers the full Anthropic Claude enterprise suite — adding Claude Code and Claude Cowork to existing Claude Enterprise/Platform support — with AI runtime guardrails, session-level AI detection & response, AI-SPM for malicious skill/config detection, and activity monitoring for credential/source-code exposure.
Why it matters
Extends a mainstream data-security vendor's AI-SPM/runtime-guardrail coverage across the fastest-growing agentic surface (coding agents with terminal/shell access and file-manipulating desktop agents), addressing a genuine blind spot as agents move from chat to autonomous action.
Applicability
Enterprises deploying Claude Code or Claude Cowork at scale and already using Varonis should enable Atlas coverage now; available immediately with free trial.
